PURPOSE:To facilitate the discarding of waste oil by method wherein the hard oils and fats having a high melting point is added in a condition that the waste oil of edible oil, etc. is heated, and the waste oil is cooled and solidified. CONSTITUTION:The waste oil of oil for a fry, etc. used for eating-out industry, etc. is previously kept at a temperature higher than approximate 55 deg.C and hard oils and fats, such as the rice bran wax, etc. of not less than 55 deg.C melting point, raw material thereof is animals and plants, are added to the waste oil only by a quantity sufficient to harden the waste oil when the waste oil cools. When the waste oil cools as it is or is cooled, it is solidified with the hard oils and fats. When the solidified substance is wrapped in paper, etc. and discarded as combustibles, it can be incinerated without trouble regarding incineration. Thus, the waste oil can easily be treated. |
