<p>A mixing drum (1) of a transportable concrete mixer has conveyor elements (2) and a driven bottom mixing tool (3). Water is fed into the drum through its mouth (1c) from an external supply pipe (8) which is connected to spray piping (7) through a rotary coupling (9). The spray piping (7) extends along the inner wall of the drum to the bottom end of the drum (1b) and is provided with nozzles (11,12) in addition to a nozzle (10) adjacent the drum mouth. Each nozzle (12) may comprise a stub pipe having radial bores (13) covered by a rubber cap (14) which prevents clogging and acts as a valve opening under water pressure. <IMAGE></p> |
