EXAMPLE:7-[2-methylthiomethoxyimino-2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)acetamido]- 3-(1, 3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn-isomer). USE:Antibacterials and their intermediates effective against a wide variety of pathogenic microorganisms. PROCESS:A compound of formula IV is reacted with a compound of formula V or its salt to give a compound of formula III or its salt, which is reacted with a compound of formula II to form the compound of formula I or its salt.</p> |
