PURPOSE:To improve the deviation of the center line of the web of H-beam steel, by separately installing the primary and the secondary roller working tables in order to suitably adjust the pass line, at rolling H-beam by the universal rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:At rolling the H-beam steel from the billet by the universal rolling mill 13, the working tables are separately installed as the primary working table 11 and the secondary working table 12. An end 14 of the primary working table 11 is made turnable around the pin 15, and another end 16 is put on the holding base 17 installed at an end of the secondary working table 12. In the secondary working table 12, the holding base 17 at an end and the another end on the mill 13 side, both are supported at their bottom by respective lifting devices 18, so that whole of the working table 12 can be lifted keeping horizontalness. The height of the horizontal part of this table 12 is adjusted to the height by which the center of the web of the rolled material exactly coincides with the pass line of the specified rolling mill, while holding the table 12 horizontally. Since the rolled material, itself holding perfect horizontalness, is fed into the rolling mill 13, the deviation of the web center is greatly diminished. |
