Body movement monitoring instrument - has circular tube and mercury drop with contact pairs transmitting pulses resulting from inertia oscillation

A body movements measuring instrument, applied to volunteers uses a tube (1) made from an insulating material. It has the shape of an enclosed ring. The tube contains a drop of mercury (2) which functions as the inertia component. There are a number of pairs of contacts (3) around the circumference on the inside of the tube. The distance between the sequential pairs of contacts is such that only one pair will be touching when the mercury drop is displaced. The converter transmits an electrical pulse when the mercury drop is displaced. The counting is performed electronically, the pulses produced by the contacts being recorded and displayed in a digital form.
