PURPOSE:To impart an anisotropy to a magnet in its pressurizing direction by filling fine mixture powder added with granulating powder in a molding cylinder, applying magnetic field thereto in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the cylinder by a permanent magnet and pressurizing and molding the powder in the same direction as the latter. CONSTITUTION:After filling powder material in a molding cylinder 8, magnetic field is applied thereto in a direction perpendicular to a core bar 2 externally of an outer cylinder 1 by a permanent magnet 3. The cylinder 8 is mounted in a partition cylinder 7, and pressure oil is filled from an inlet 6. The cylinder 7 is internally compressed to compress the powder material through the cylinder 1 so as to obtain a molded hollow magnet. When employing mixture powder containing 20-40% of granulating powder including 10-30 mesh for the powder material, the magnet may incorporate 2,400-2,700G of residual magnetic flux density and 50G of axial surface magnetic flux density. |
