<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system in which an image data can be printed immediately upon receiving from a host unit while shortening the waiting time before forming an image significantly. SOLUTION: The imaging system comprises a section 2 for inputting a data to a host computer 1, a section 3 for detecting input of a data from the input section 2 to the host computer, a unit 4 for forming an image based on an image data received from the host computer, and a section 5 for switching the image forming unit between a printable normal power mode and a power save mode wherein switching is made from power save mode to normal power mode when input of a data to the host computer is detected during power save mode.</p> |
