<p>An aerosol valve has a valve housing 22 provided with an interrupted peripheral flange 50 that will yield under pressure and permit the housing and the valve gasket 28 to move away from their sealing relation with the pedestal 14 of the mounting cup closure during round the housing filling, and to return to said sealing relation upon terminating the filling operation.
