PURPOSE:To perform the stable operation by providing a detector which generates a detected signal when input signals to the triggering signal forming circuit of an inverter is not normally applied and compensating the input signals to said forming circuit by said detected signal. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 3 converts DC power into AC power, and has a frequency that is integer times the output frequency. Two signals S1 and S2 having a phase difference are supplied to a frequency divider 20, and its output controls the inverter 3. The frequency divider 20 contains a circuit 22 which determines the receiving width of pulses and a frequency divider 25 which forms a gate signal. A pulse-width detector 24 is also provided. If the input signal is missing, an output signal is generated and applied to the frequency divider 25 via an OR circuit 21. Therefore, even through the phase of the input signal to the frequency divider 20 is missed the variation in the phase of the gate signal required for the operation of the inverter 3 can be made smaller, thereby the stable operation can be performed. |
