PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a difficulty with the prior art wherein it is needed in a cold water machine to store cold water while keeping cold intactly, so that the running cost is high, and it is impossible to freely set temperature of the cold water, and further it is impossible in the cold water machine to make water instantaneously and make ice with the need of a water storage tank to limit making the apparatus compact and light weight. SOLUTION: There are provided on a cooling apparatus 1 water supply temperature input means 7 capable of setting temperature when supply water is cooled in an evaporator 5 into cold water freely in response to liking and purposes, supply water flow rate control means 9 for controlling a flow rate of supply water flowing through a cold water circuit 8, and supply water temperature control means 11 for controlling the supply water flow rate control means 9 such that the temperature of the cold water cooled in the evaporator 5 becomes temperature inputted by the supply water temperature input means 7. Accordingly, cold water at a temperature associated with liking or ice can be instantaneously and continuously made.
