PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a base for preparing a gelatinous food, capable of easily producing gelatinous feeds such as jellies and mousses without complicated treatment such as heating to dissolve a gelatinizer or cooling for gel forming, to obtain a gelatinous food composition capable of being prepared by an easy method without the above complicated treatment, and to provide a method for producing the gelatinous food composition. SOLUTION: The gelatinous food composition is obtained by using a base which contains a water-soluble carrageenan as the main component and characterized by forming a gel by reacting with an aqueous composition containing calcium or at least one kind of protein derived from milk. |
