Heater tube fixture for bulkhead - uses bush cold welded to tube and secured by seal

The system secures heater tubes in a pressure-resistant and fluid-proof manner in a bulkhead between two heat-exchange fluids. A bush (7), being a clearance fit on the tube (4), is slid over it to the level of the mounting point and there cold-welded to it. The bush is then fixed in the bulkhead by a conventional sealing device (8, 14). The bush can have an annular recess forming a space between it and the tube and which is filled with cold-welding paste (18).
