<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the entire system of a constant frequency generator by coupling an engine and a generator directly with an induction load and exciting the field winding of the load in accordance with the output voltage of the generator and the load current. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft of an engine 1, the rotary shaft of a generator and the drum 10 of an induction load are directly coupled, and the output voltage of the generator and the load current are rectified by rectifiers 12, 14 respectively and the rectified currents are applied to the field coils 111, 112 of the induction load. Since the induction load and the load applied to the engine 1 vary to become constant even if the load is changed, the rotation may not be altered.</p> |
