<p>A washing filter for freeing powders or crystals from sol. prods. coating them, comprising a vessel with a bottom in the form of a sieve, contains a mechanism for equalising the surface of the cake or pasty mass obtd. after discharge of the liq. and for filling up cracks, and a mechanism for stirring the mass. These two mechanisms are associated with the same driving mechanism. The mechanism for equalising the surface and filling up the cracks consists of three radial arms at difference levels on a tubular vertical driving shaft. Each of these arms carries a hanging rake. The end of the lower bar of the rake carries a scraper which acts against the inner side surface of the vessel. The mechanism for mixing the pasty mass consists of a helix of large surface with thin blades integral with a sleeve which surrounds the tubular shaft driving the arms. The arms pass through longitudinal openings in the sleeve. The base of the sleeve is fixed to a shaft which passes through the tubular shaft and is associated at its upper end with a nut which cooperates with a screw, the rotation of which brings about vertical longitudinal displacement of the helix.</p> |
