<p>In a soother having a suction body (1) made as an envelope with an inside cavity, means to prevent the free end portion of the suction body from falling off if the cover should break. The suction body (1) is connected to a holding plate (2) at its end opposing its free end. Said means includes a connection member (9) fixed to the free end of the suction body and extending through the cavity, which member is connected to the opposite end of the suction body or the holding plate. Said connection member is a chord (9) integral with the suction body. When the suction body (1) passes at its opposite end through an opening (3) in the holding plate (2) said chord (9) extends through this opening and has an end bead. </p> |
