PURPOSE:To provide a heating transfer material having an excellent chemical proofing, boiling water resistance and weatherproofing property by a method wherein silane coupling agent and water soluble melamine resin solution are coated on the transfer surface whereon the sublimate coloring agent is transferred. CONSTITUTION:After colloidal alumina or colloidal silica is coated on the inorganic material or metal material such as glass, enamel, iron and zinc to form alumina or silica film by drying and baking thereof, the transfer foil containing a sublimate coloring agent is used for heating transfer. Next, after soluble silane coupling agent of 0.5-20mum thickness such as vinyltrichlorosilane, gamma-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilan is coated on the transfer surface and dried, the soluble melamine resin of 0.5- 20mum thickness such as mono- or dimethylolmelamine is coated and heated at 100- 220 deg.C to dry and harden. |
