A vane pump comprising a casing (1) and, mounted inside it with a radial clearance, a suction (5) and a pressure (6) axial wheels mounted on a common driving shaft (4) one after another along the fluid flow. The internal diameter of the casing (1) around the suction wheel (5) is diminishing along the fluid flow and corresponds, at the inlet section of the wheel (5), to a formula: (FORMULA) The suction wheel (5) has a bush (11) with screw vanes (12) fixed thereon at variable angles increasing along the fluid flow. At the inlet section of the wheel (5) that angle is equal to: (FORMULA) where: Do - internal diameter of the casing (1) at the inlet section of the suction wheel (5); D, - internal diameter of the casing (1) at the inlet section of the pressure wheel (6). D1 - non-dimensional coefficient equal to 0.17 to 0.13; Ck - cavitation coefficient with a value preset within a range of 5000 to 11000; A - value of the radial clearance. |
