PURPOSE:To enable printing or indicating a kanji with fewer dot matrices by indicating one kanji with adjacent two dot areas as for specific kanjis. CONSTITUTION:One english numeral, one kana letter or one kanji is printed or indicated by a dot area composed of dot matrices numbering nXm: n in width and m in length. In case when a kanji has so many strokes that one dot area turns insufficient for indicating the same, two dot areas are to be used [for instance, one area is used for a left-hand radical (ki) and the other for the right-hand radical (bun)]. Even with fewer numbers of nXm, the indication or printing of the kanji is possible. |
