<p>The anchoring bolt (1) is intended for securing a component (2) to a wall. The bolt has screw thread (3) on its projecting end for fixing the component by a nut (4), whilst its other end is provided with a longitudinal groove (8) whose bottom is inclined in outward direction towards the end inserted in a bore (6) in the wall. The groove contains a captive wedge piece (5) which fixes itself in the bore as the nut is tightened. The wedge piece may be a small plate converging towards the bolt end and may have an inner concave contour i that direction.</p> |
