<p>Boots, specially protective footwear for industrial applications are entirely made of polyurethane foam or similar flexible expanded plastic material. The whole boot is made in one piece and parts such as the instep and the ankle bone are specially protected by thicker layers of foam. The foam can be given different properties in certain areas by arranging the heating element wires at a greater density in the boot mould. Such safety boots have excellent flexibility and weigh less than conventional footwear.</p> |
