PURPOSE:To enable the pressed products of desired sizes to be obtained by so constituting the press that the difference between the stroke value of the 2nd press part and the preset stroke value is detected and the set weight value of a scrap weighing machine is controlled according to the above difference. CONSTITUTION:In the baling press device having the scrap weighing machine 30 consisting of a hopper 31 and measuring part 32, the 1st press part which longitudinally presses metal scraps with its cylinder 42 and the 2nd press part which horizontally presses the scraps with its cylinder 43, the controller which detects the difference between the stroke value of the foregoing the 2nd press part at the press operation completion point and the preset stroke value by the detector not illustrated and increases or decreases the set value of the foregoing weighing machine according to said stroke difference is provided. Thereby, the weight value of the scraps is corrected according to the length of the pressed product of rectangular parallelepiped shape and the pressed products of the sizes desired by the user are obtained. |
