A device for degassing the drilling mud comprises a casing (1) with an inlet and an outlet for the drilling mud and plates (5, 8) mounted therein and fixed, alternatively, ones (5) on a vertically oriented axis (4) and others (8) on the internal wall of the casing (1), the space inside the latter being connected with a vacuum source (12). The plates (5, 8) are made of an electroconductive material and are connected, through a polarity shifting device (10), to a direct current source (9) The axis (4), together with the plates (5) fixed to it, is spring-biased in the vertical direction and is mechanically connected with a vibrator (11) intended for shaking off, from the plates (5), the solid phase deposited thereon.
