Flush fitting refrigerator - with plastic foam sheath in thermoplastic lining with diffusion barrier

Freezer or refrigerator of the flush fitting built-in type has a main frame and casing, made of a plastic deep drawn or injection moulding. A heat insulating shell is formed by surrounding the built-in parts by another casing of a deep drawn plastic material, pref. polystyrene, and by filling the gap between them with rigid plastic foam. The outside of the shell is lined with a diffusion barrier, pref. a foil of deep drawn polyacrylinitrile. The design can be produced at an attractive price and provides adequate diffusion safety.
