<p>Information for line and column adjustment of the printer position, in relation to record carrier, is input via a keyboard of the text processing machine. The information data can be written into a memory (10) and automatically adjust the printer position as required, on recall from the memory. When two different allocation commands are input, it is possible to write into the memory a corresponding two categories of associated additional data to the position data. On application of an execution command for a first category position, the adjustment of the printer position into the next position is triggered. On application of a second category execution command only the next second category position can be triggered. On application of text data, position data, recalled from the data memory, can be rewritten into the same memory. All the data accumulated during the processing step i.e. text and position data from the data memory, can be transferred into a different memory (3) and stored under a common characteristic address.</p> |
