The cladding panel suspension has a retaining member whose top part is fixed to a support wall, and a U-bend at the bottom extended to a top open tray parallel to the panel. A set screw extends into it, together with an adjustable support screw, as in 2002477. The retaining member (9) is hinged to the fixing screw (4) in the top area, and to the tray (12) in the bottom area, so as to swivel about axes running across the length. It can be a ring with two or more parallel shanks. Thus panel mounting and adjustment is simplified.
