摘要 PURPOSE:To analyze glucose or cholesterol quantitatively with accuracy, without reaction disturbance due to air, etc., by maintaining the temperature of a buffer bath higher than that of the reaction vessel. CONSTITUTION:The buffer 6, maintained at a temperature about 5-10 deg.C higher than that of the reaction vessel 16 by the heater 2 of the buffer bath 1, is sent to the sample injection unit 8 by the transfer pump 7. A given amount of a sample, e.g., serum, is injected by the syringe 10 into the buffer 16, which is then passed from the pipe 11 through three-way cock 14 to the vessel 16 at about 25-40 deg.C in the thermostatic chamber 20, and reacted with the immobilized oxidase set therein. After completion of the reaction, the buffer 16 is passed from the pipe 17 to the oxygen analyzer 18 to determine the consumed oxygen and amount of glucose and cholesterol. The liquid after the determination is passed from the pipe 19 through the three-way cock 15, and discharged from the pipe 13.
