<p>For use the casing (12) is placed on the material (200) to be cut with centering shaft (102) withdrawn after tightening nut (42) has been slackedned. When casing (12) has been positioned, centering shaft (102) is pushed down until pad (118) fitted in recess of contact disc (106) rests against the material and nut (42) is tightened. Across the body (12) an arm (18) slides in an opening (34) provided in the rim (22) of the casing. The sliding arm (18) has a scale engraved on its side working together with a reference points on the casing (12). The arm (18) becomes slidable when nut (58) is slackened. After the required radius is set on the scale and penetration depth of the cutting edge (66) into the material (20) is adjusted nut (58) is tightened and the cutting operation is carried out using the rim surface (22) as a grip.</p> |
