Appts for recovering pure acids (R1O)(R2O)P(S)SH (I) (R1 and R2 are each 1-6C opt branched alkyl or cycloakyl) from their alkali metal or ammonium salts (II) by dissolving in strong mineral acid, then sepg. liq. phases, comprises a reactor provided with stirrer supply line and overflow. The hector is fitted with an internal cylindrical barrier reaching nearly to its base, and an external cylindrical barrier surrounding it. The reactor is positioned inside a separator, tapering towards a discharge valve at the bottom, and having an aeration opening and side overflow line liq overflowing through the reactor is caught in the separator. The process can be operated continuously and provides yields of up to 98%.
