The compsn. contains an effective amt, i.e. 0.02-2%, w.r.t. total wt. of compsn. of a cyclic phosphonite of formula (I) and/or (II) (where R is alkyl, haloalkyl, aryl, haloaryl, alkanyl and haloalkyl, R1 is ethylidene, propylidene, 2,2-dimethyl propylidene or or mixt. of cyclic phosphonites and cyclic ethers. Used for lacquers, films, laminates, moulding, etc.
