Trays of supporting hydroponic cultivation are made of steel coated with RILSAN (RTM- polymers of alpha, w aliphatic amides), pref. applied by electrostatic deposition to a depth of approx. 100 mu m. The coating enhances resistance to corrosion solns. Pref. the rays are coated on their upper and lower surfaces and have sloping sides with a turned lip to prevent direct contact between the bodies of stacked trays, to avoid damage to the coatings. |
