In a plant continuously producing mould panels, a device is used for inserting profile bars which hold them together. It comprises a drill, separator for bars, and a device for knocking them in, arranged in tandem. The drill appliance (20) has a stop mechanism for a series of tools (22), which are offset in different assemblies. The separator has a vertical guide channel, opening onto a moving plate with a through-groove and guide grooves, and pairs of top and bottom holder slats. A striker has assemblies (23, 24) at the track sides with a series of parallel independent plungers (25).
