Tanker vehicle slurry distributor - has flexible pipe in bearings and is moved by actuators in opposite directions

The slurry distributor is for a tanker vehicle, the slurry being forced or pumped under pressure out of the tank and distributed by a scatter plate. A distributor pipe (11), is flexible for at least part of its length and is mounted in bearings (3) on a bracket (2) at the outlet from the tank (1). Actuators (7) functioning in opposite directions act on the shaft (4) in the bearings via levers (6). A lever-operated hose clamp (8, 9) is coupled to the shaft so as to shut the distributor pipe off when travelling.
