PURPOSE:To prevent processing performance from deteriorating by providing remote initial program loading from occurring many times, by providing an exchange with a circuit which exercises a super-vision over the state of an inter-office circuit. CONSTITUTION:State change detection circuit 104 in switching unit 103 supervises the state of the circuit of inter-office transmission line 108 extending to line concentrator 101 at any time and actuates circuit 105 when the circuit is opened to send a request to execute initial program loading to processor 106. On the bais of this request, processor 106 sends the initial program loading to line concentrator 101 and then restarts communication after receiving its answer. |
