Disclosed herein is a novel process for the manufacture of N-(mercaptomethyl)phthalimide-S-(O-O-dimethylphosphorodithioate) wherein increased production in a series of given size reaction vessels is achieved. The process includes an operation at higher temperature and a higher product-to-solvent ratio than those practiced before herein.
