The collapsible container, such as may be used for transporting fish, comprises a bottom (1), two side walls (2, 3) and two end walls (4, 5). It consists of rigid plastics and has the side and end walls integrally connected with the bottom via hingeable portions (6). When set up, the walls (2-5) interlock via integral snap-in connections (8, 10). Some of the interlock connectors (8) may be arranged at the ends of top cover panels n7). These are integrally and hingeably connected to the upper edges of the side or end walls and which, in use, are parallel to the bottom.
