The precision flor control system is for use in medical diagnostic systems based upon a constant pressure drop provided by level control within a supply reservoir. Liquid is supplied (24) over a control valve (25) through a flexible tube (11) into a level controlled reservoir (3) with a sealed housing. The discharge flow (10) rate is governed by Torricelli's equation which indicates a dependence upon the height upon the liquid level (3a) to the discharge point. The nominal flow discharge is set manually by adjusting a base plate (4a) to which the discharge tube (12) is attahced, using an adjuster bar (7). A sensor provides a level signal (20) to control the flow from the supply tank.
