<p>The parent patent described an offshore platform for structures such as light-house, oil and gas drilling and production or oil tanks in which a floating deck with shuttering tubes and autolifts is prefabricated on shore and subsequently joined to support legs on site. The legs are part of a concrete structure with a base and have heads with a cylindrical steel reinforcement and interconnecting struts. The top of th is base structure lies enough below the water level to allow the deck to be floated into position. This system can now be used even for greatly fluctuating water levels and for greater water depths.</p> |
