The connecting fitment is for plate-form furniture components joining each other at right-angles. Its two parts (18) are fixable at the point of union of the components (12, 14) standing proud of them. One fitment has a rotary pin and locates tightly against the face side of the corresponding furniture component. A recess takes the second fitment part which fits into it completely. On the faces of the first and/or second fitment parts facing the furniture components dowel fixture pins screw into holes in the furniture components.
