<p>There is provided an improved casing tong wherein a novel cam and guide roller arrangement allows unilateral application of the clamping or gripping force by one jaw, while the second jaw serves only as a reaction element, and wherein the clamping face of the cams is provided with a steeper slope to allow a rapid increase in clamping force and a virtually radial approach of the jaws to the casing.</p> |
