Movable table carrying paper stack - has arm sensing height of stack and using switches to control raising and lowering

The control has a sensor arm detecting the height of the stack of sheets on the table in synchronism with the removal of sheets from the stack and passage to a processing machine. The sensor arm which controls the table lifting mechanism, consists of two pivoted sub-arms one of which forms a sensor sub-arm and the other a switching sub-arm. The sensor sub-arm rests on the upper front edge (6) of the stack. The switching sub-arm operates a switch that controls raising and a switch that controls the lowering operation. The advantage lies in simplicity and in optimising the transfer of the paper (or cardboard to the processing machine.
