A door for a vehicle, more particularly a motor vehicle, embodied by an assembly of composite elements and comprising a first frame (1) which is annular and which has a cross-member (2) extending around the door periphery and flanked laterally below the level (13) of the bottom of the window pane by an inner panel (I), inter alia of plastics, secured to the first frame (1) and shaped to enable the conventional accessories to be either secured to it or embodied inits mass, and by an outer panel (E), characterized in that the outer panel (E) takes the form of a thin wall curved to the required shape and secured to the first frame (1) ; and the door also comprises a second frame (B) which is annular and external, extends around a closed periphery adapted to cover externally the top part of the first frame (1) above the level (13) of the bottom window pane, the second frame (B) being adapted to strengthen the top part (3) of the first frame, the second frame (B) comprising a horizontal cross-member (B1) which extends between a front upright (4) and a rear upright (5) of the first frame (1) at the level (13) of the bottom of the window pane.</p> |
