PURPOSE:To equalize the size of ink droplets by providing two pipes having a plurality of outlets elevationally in parallel at a liquid chamber to equalize the pressure applied to the nozzle of a multi-nozzle head for an ink jet. CONSTITUTION:Two pipes 8 having a plurality of outlets 8a are elevationally arranged in parallel within a liquid chamber 9b at the back of a plurality of ink jet nozzles 9a, inserted into holes 9c perforated at both side walls, and communicated with an ink supply pipe 13 through a hole 14a of a joint 14. A vibrating plate unit 11 is provided to incorporate a vibrating plate 11a at the front surface and a connector 11b at the rear surface on the back surface of the liquid chamber 9b. An electrostrictive element 11d connected to the connector 11b via lead wire 11c is secured fixedly to the back surface of the vibrating plate 11a. |
