<p>The semi industrial trailers, is without axles or springs. It has tubeless tyres of large vertical flexibility. Shock absorbing is given by oscillating rings and friction on balancers is given by a double acting adjustable shock absorber. The balancers allow rapid load transfer to and from the tractor. Axles are replaced by axle casings carrying drive shafts which are solid with the wheels. The inner part of the shafts protrude inside the chassis. This gives ease of mounting freely in air, protection for cooling and retarder and brakes. The chassis rear is supported on compressed air and the front by the tractor.</p> |
