The tray is made from a single sheet of cardboard, and has a base with integral sides and ends formed by bending the card at right angles along the edges. The sides are reinforced by bending the strip downwards. The ends have a horizontal ledge which fits under the corner reinforcements. The corners are held together with tabs tucked into slots, and stacking is possible due to the slots and tabs at the ends of the tray. The centre of the sides are cut away for ventilation when stacked.
