<p>A simple reliable correction device for powered typewriters etc. ensures that the correction tape does not stick to its guide elements or other parts of the machine and thus ensures reliable correction of errors. The feed drive and lift device require only one control lever (59). A feed pin (63) eccentrically mounted on the control lever (59) is coupled to the feed drive (129, 135, 137, 46) and slides on a carrier (47) in a control slot (51). The slot has two curved sections, one for raising the carrier and one concentric to the control lever swivel point (87). The control lever is operated by a cam drive (71) with actuation and return cam faces and a pawl (77) connected via a linkage (91) to a swivel lever (91). One face (9a) of the swivel lever forms the armature of an electromagnet (97) controlled by a correction key on the machine keyboard.</p> |
