CONTINUOUS THERMAL CRACKING OF REDUCED CRUDE OIL RESIDUUM
摘要

CONTINUOUS THERMAL CRACKING OF REDUCED CRUDE OIL RESIDUUM The thermal cracking of a reduced crude oil residuum can be carried out on a continuous basis by heating the residuum under continuous flow to a temperature not exceeding 520.degree.C and introducing this preheated residuum sequentially into a series of parallel reaction zones. The cracking is continued in each reaction zone by contact with a non-oxidative heat transfer medium; each zone being emptied at the completion of each reaction and re-filled with preheated residuum. The number of reaction zones, filling and reacting times are such as to allow continuous flow of preheated residuum.
