<p>The keep board is arranged to incline sideways, under the effect of water flow about an axis lying in the central longitudinal plane of symmetry of the boat. The axis is inclined upwardly towards the bows of the boat. An upward lift component is generated by the board during its inclination, due to the longitudinal component of movement of the boat. Two inclinable keel boards, whose axes of inclination converge towards the bows may be used.</p> |
