<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the effective screen display by having the display through selection of the display region for the character and the image and thus securing the display of the image at an optional region on the monitor screen. CONSTITUTION:Refresh memory 13 contains the random access memory to memorize the character code and the character generator, and delivers the fixed character signals via the address signals of address counter 11. Image memory 14 generates the image pattern signals with application of the shift clock pulse. Attribute memory 12 delivers the character selection signals when the address of the character display region is designated from counter 11 and then the image selection signals when the address of the image display region is designated respectively. These signals are then supplied to one terminal of AND circuits 15, 17 and 18 each, and the output of memory 13 is supplied to the other terminal of circuit 15. And the output of memory 14 is supplied to the other terminal of circuit 17. The output of circuits 15 and 17 are led to OR circuit 19, and the output receives the signal process to be turned to the display input of the monitor display unit.</p> |
