The control piston (3) to be actuated by the servopressure to be boosted is pivoted close to the end of a balance beam (12) variably supported as a function of the vehicle load, whilst, acting counter to the control piston (3), the return piston (4) actuated by the boosted brake pressure is pivoted on the other end of the balance beam (12). That end of the balance beam (12) close to the control piston (3) acts on a brake valve device (24). In order to prevent the vehicle load-related support of the balance beam (12) from influencing the minimum brake pressure setting, the beam is formed from a spring (14) of the abutment (16) acting counter to the direction of actuation of the return piston (4), the spring force being approximately equal to the force exerted by the return piston (4) when actuated by a minimum brake pressure sufficient for application of the brake. <IMAGE> |
