Flat cable rack joining communications equipment bays - uses half shells at ends of cross-bars clamped and screwed together to retain pipe

The flat cable rack is for the cabling system of equipment bags in communication systems. It is rapidly constructed to suit the various spatial conditions and working requirements of different working equipment rooms. A chain of such racks is formed from a line of pipes and cross bars joining the ends together. The cross bars consists of shanks with half shells at their ends offset to each other by 180 degrees. One half shell has a spigot at one end while the complementary half shell hs a passageway in the bridging section to the shank. This enables a pipe laid in the former half shell to be firmly gripped by clamping the half shells together.
